Omega Speedmaster Dark Side of the Moon
The OMEGA Speedmaster Dark Side of the Moon, reference 310.92.44.51.01.004, celebrates the brand’s legacy in space exploration with a 44.25 mm polished and brushed black ceramic case, complemented by a polished black ceramic bezel with a Liquidmetal™ tachymeter scale. The glossy ceramic dial features sub-dials at 9 o’clock for the small seconds, at 3 o’clock for 12 hours and 60 minutes, and a date window at 6 o’clock.
The hour and minute hands, beveled indices, and sub-dial hands are in 18K white gold filled with green Super-LumiNova, while the central chronograph hand is white gold PVD-plated with a red tip. The automatic Co-Axial Master Chronometer 9900 movement provides precision and reliability with a 60-hour power reserve.
The scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, treated with anti-reflective coating on both sides, protects the dial. The black rubber strap, featuring a lunar surface-inspired interior, pairs with a ceramic deployant clasp with ceramized titanium components. The watch is water-resistant to 5 bar (50 meters), with a 21 mm lug width, 50 mm lug-to-lug distance, and 15.09 mm thickness.
