Montblanc Meisterstuck x Olympic Heritage Chamony 1924 Douè Classique

To celebrate the Meisterstück centennial in 2024, Montblanc pays homage to the origins of the iconic writing instruments in a collection inspired by the spirit of the 1924 Chamonix Olympic Games. By a stroke of luck, 1924 marked for the brand the launch of the writing instrument that established itself as one of its most coveted masterpieces as well as the first Winter Olympic Games in Chamonix, at the foot of Mont Blanc. At its core, both Montblanc and the 1924 Chamonix Olympic Games embody with master craftsmen and sporting heroes the quest for the best possible human achievement.

The Doué edition combines a precious resin body with a blue-gray hue, echoing the official color chosen for the Winter Olympic Games, and a platinum-finished cap engraved with the mountainous landscape of the Chamonix valley. The Olympic rings are part of the traditional Olympic logo, engraved on the ring at the top of the cap framed by a crown of leaves, recalling those offered to winners with the best performances at the Olympics in ancient times.The cap is engraved with the words "Olympic Games Chamonix 1924" within a frame inspired by the cover of official articles on the Olympic Games.The cap ring bears both for "1924" and "2024," emblematic of the importance of both years.Completing the edition is the Montblanc emblem on the top of the cap in precious coral resin, Montblanc's iconic color.
