When it was developed in 1906, the unique “Rouge et Noir” fountain pen was considered an outstanding technical achievement, ensuring easy operation without the need to dip the nib in an inkwell. The Heritage Collection Rouge et Noir celebrates 110 years of Montblanc's pioneering spirit. Reinterpreting the legendary writing instrument, it features a longer, slimmer silhouette, modern piston filling technology, and craftsmanship perfected over generations. The barrel of the exclusive fountain pen is made of fine black lacquer to match the cap made of fine black resin. Snake Clip in vintage look with matching accessories. The clip is made by a molding and winding process in a special metal alloy and is aged by a unique galvanic and stripping process.
