Paying tribute to the world’s highest peaks and the mountaineers who dare to scale them under extreme conditions, the Montblanc 1858 Geosphere Chronograph 0 Oxygen The 8000 is housed in a 42 mm titanium case completely devoid of oxygen. This innovation offers several advantages for explorers, eliminating fogging and preventing oxidation, allowing the movement components to last longer with even greater accuracy.
The timepiece is powered by the in-house automatic MB 29.25 movement with a world-time complication, displaying 24 time zones on luminescent continents within the 3D globes of the Northern and Southern Hemispheres. It also features day/night indications, a dual time function, and a date display. Additionally, the watch includes a bidirectional knurled black ceramic bezel with luminescent cardinal points, a dark gray gradient dial with a “glacier” pattern and orange accents, and an interchangeable titanium bracelet with a tapered and refined adjustment system. The case back of this model is adorned with a 3D laser engraving of Mount K2, depicted with incredible color, depth, and realism.
