  This limited edition commemorates the 20th anniversary of Grand Seiko's original Spring Drive movement, Caliber 9R, created in 2004.The dark red dial of this new Sport Collection GMT draws inspiration from a vivid sunrise illuminating the craggy landscape of Japan's Hotaka mountain range in summer. As with all Grand Seiko GMT watches, ease of use is ensured by the local hour hand, which can be adjusted independently, forward or backward, while the watch is running, ensuring accuracy when changing time zones as you move. On the dark red dial, the silvered GMT hand further enhances the high readability for which Grand Seiko is renowned.The ideals of a Grand Seiko sports watch are fully reflected in this new creation, which features a scratch-resistant ceramic bezel. The crown and case back are secured with screw-down mechanisms, and the watch is water-resistant to 20 bar.
