Grand Seiko Heritage Meccanico Hi-Beat 36000
Inspired by the clear night skies of Japan during Shūbun, the autumnal equinox, this Grand Seiko timepiece evokes celestial beauty with a deep blue dial accented by a golden logo and seconds hand, echoing the glow of the moon and stars. A modern take on the iconic 1967 62GS, it features sharp edges and distortion-free surfaces achieved through the masterful Zaratsu polishing technique. The bezel-less design creates a wide dial opening for a distinctive presence on the wrist. The 40 mm case houses the Hi-beat Caliber 9S85, hand-assembled at the Grand Seiko Studio Shizukuishi. Technical highlights include a screw-down see-through caseback, square-shaped sapphire crystal with inner anti-reflective coating, approximately 55 hours of power reserve, 10 bar water resistance, and daily accuracy ranging from +8 to -1 seconds under normal use. The watch features a 21 mm strap, triple-folding clasp with push-button release, and 37 jewels in the movement. Total weight: 155 g.
