  The SLGH005 captures the dynamism of the white birch forests around the Shizukuishi studio, where all Grand Seiko mechanical watches are made. Looking closely at the dial allows you to feel like you are visiting one of these forests, bringing you closer than ever to the true and eternal nature of time.
  The aesthetic of the watch is known as the Evolution 9 style and has been an important part of the Grand Seiko signature for years. The imposing hands combined with the fluted and protruding markers ensure perfect legibility, while the Zaratsu polishing, the anti-distortion mirror finish, and the delicate brushing give the case a soft and harmonious shine. The wide lugs of the case and its low center of gravity ensure that the watch sits comfortably on the wrist for an excellent fit.
