In the early 1940s, Willy Breitling was already dreaming of a post-conflict period where utility would give way to unabashed optimism. He began to design a functional yet undeniably elegant chronograph that could be worn indefinitely and was, in his own words, “the unmistakable sign of impeccable taste.” And he called this new line Premier. To create the modern Premier, Breitling preserved the distinctive details of the vintage version, including the smooth fixed bezel, double-register dial, tapered rectangular pushers, and applied Arabic numerals. The Premier B01 Chronograph 42 comes in a range of dial colors and case materials. It is available with a variety of classic crocodile leather straps or an elegant seven-row metal bracelet. The modern Premier also lives up to Willy Breitling's exacting technical standards, with its exceptional self-winding movement-the COSC-certified Breitling Manufacture Caliber 01-designed for maximum precision, reliability, and functionality.
