Breitling multifunction watch for all your activities. The Chronomat holds a special place in Breitling's history. Introduced in 1984, at a time when ultra-thin quartz timepieces were all the rage, Breitling took a bold gamble on a mechanical watch with impressive dimensions. Inspired by the Frecce Tricolori chronograph, which had been I was developed and launched in 1983 in collaboration with the famous Italian air squadron, the Chronomat celebrated Breitling's centenary in grand style and marked the return of the mechanical chronograph to its rightful place of prominence at the brand that had built its global reputation on these incredible watches. Available in a variety of materials including stainless steel and 18K red gold, the Chronomat features a 42mm case and the iconic bezel with the four horsemen. Available with a black, blue, silver or copper dial, the Chronomat is paired with the distinctive “Rouleaux” bracelet and is powered by Breitling's in-house caliber 01, a COSC-certified chronometer.
