The new Hamilton Khaki Navy Frogman Automatic

Hamilton has a rich history in American watchmaking, and not just for aviation watches. The company created the ‘Canteen’ watch worn by the US Navy’s ‘frogmen’ (the predecessors of the Navy SEALs) during the Second World War. The commercial version of this watch made its debut in 1951 and was promoted at the same time in the film *The Frogmen*. Many years later, Hamilton gave the Frogman watch a modern makeover. The result is the Khaki Navy Frogman Automatic, featuring a modern movement and a contemporary look.

Khaki Navy Frogman Automatic Hamilton

For the Khaki Navy Frogman Automatic, the brand has chosen the robust and reliable H-10 calibre. This three-hand calibre is renowned for its absolute precision and impressive 80-hour power reserve. What sets it apart is the use of a cutting-edge alloy, Nivachron.

This relatively new material ensures the calibre remains more accurate thanks to its exceptional resistance to magnetic fields, shocks and temperature fluctuations.

This self-winding movement is housed in a 46 mm stainless steel case and protected by a solid caseback featuring a scuba diver motif.
