  Powered by Grand Seiko's signature Spring Drive caliber, this model features the contemporary 44GS design, a contemporary version of the 44GS design, which was introduced in 1967 and which was the cornerstone of Grand Seiko's design philosophy, the Grand Seiko Style The dial is a midnight blue color that comes as close as possible to black, along with the elegantly bright case achieved via Zaratsu polishing, it offers refined taste and high visibility at the same time The movement of the seconds hand on the dial further highlights the original sliding movement of Grand Seiko and reflects the natural and constant flow of time. It has a 72-hour (3-day) energy reserve and an energy reserve indicator on the bottom left of the dial.
